WRITING AND PUBLICATIONS

I write short stories and other things that lean towards the odd, creepy, or super-powered. Occasionally, it's all three.

As an editor for Grinnell College Press, Concrete Perspectives, and The Prairie Burn, I've also worked on several other writing and illustration projects that require the synthesis of the work of multiple people.

The publications listed below were all edited or created using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Indesign.

PAST AND CURRENT PUBLICATIONS

LEGACY OF ALL THAT I KNOW (2018)

Legacy of All That I Know is a short story, art, and photography collection of work belonging to Shabana Gupta. I worked directly with Shabana to collate, group, and copy edit her work into one final publication.

CONCRETE PERSPECTIVES (2019)

Concrete Perspectives is a literary journal aimed at giving a voice to the incarcerated individuals at Newton Correctional Facility. I paired their submissions with student artists on campus, and I'm currently in the process of synthesizing all the work into one publication with Adobe Photoshop and Indesign.

A VERY JEWISH HISTORY OF NEW YORK (2019)

A Very Jewish History of New York is exactly what the title suggests. Much of my role in this was recreating as authentic of a "zine" feel as the original publication, so I did lots of photoshopping for readability and photo cleanup, as well as copy editing.
